Canon Fever!

Photo taken from Google.com

OK, I seriously can't stop looking at it. I am falling head over heels for Canon G12 ever since it was launch. I still remember vividly that my Poly school mates and I were joking about "if there was Canon G11, then there would be Canon G12 launch with all the special effects functions." Which it did! I went to check out all the functions and even compare it with other DSLR/Compact cameras I had in mind.

I am convinced that if you are not going to invest in lens, or you are not willing to spend much on this hobby. Most likely, Canon G12 is just the best camera for you. It has the new Hybrid Image stabilizer which allows you to capture macro more sharper, and a manual mode that allows adjustments on settings such as exposure and shutter speed to achieve your desired picture.

It also comes with 25 shooting moods (with miniature effect/fish eye effect/foliage effect), and the best part is you can bring it under water! By the way, the lens can be shift; which mean that you can make use of a filter to enhance your picture quality. Sorry if I am out-dated about Canon new functions; the Face self-timer (it will detect the total number of faces in the group and take the photo) & the Smile self-timer (when you smile, the shutter goes off automatically). COOL HUH!

"How much is the market price?" I asked the sale man.

"S$780 is the price I can offer." with that, he smiled at me.

OK, I know I shouldn't even think about less than S$500 but S$780 is a killer price. What can I say, I'm going to buy a Powershot Compact Camera with a picture quality of a DSLR.
