Review: Curling my hair using non-heat method

OK, I have personally tried this method for the 4th time and it still amaze me over and over again. I love using non-heat method because it won't damage my hair while curling them, and I don't need to worry about whether I'm using the right temperature to get the curl I want.

I have illustrate how I use non-heat method:

You will need to wash your hair and wait till it is semi-dry.

Spray on your hair essence or in my case, I love to spray on Liese Juicy Hair Spray.

It not only helps me to moisture my hair, but it also protects my hair.

Next, I will apply Liese Designing Jelly (Swing Wave aka holding strength number 2). I want to create a nature soft wave look, thus I don't need to get too strong holding strength.

In my case, I use 2-3 pump of the jelly because my hair is really long.

Do take note, I always start applying from mid to end of my hair.

Next, get really your strawberry curling sponges. (*Aren't they cute?) I got these at SaSa (*sorry, I've forgotten the price) and it has 6 of these cuties in one packet. I've used 8 of these cute little sponges.

I like to separate my hair into 3 parts (bottom/middle/top); starting from the bottom hair and work your way up.

OK, let's start with the right side of my hair. First, comb hair. Next, using the sponge to align with hair and pull it downwards near your hair end (*please make sure your hair is straight) and start rolling up. Give them a little squeeze to keep them in place.

Note: I like to twirl in my hair ends as well.

Do this for all your hair. I know, I look ridiculous but I can't wait for the outcome. I will leave it on overnight. How can you sleep? When you lay your head on the pillow, make sure you don't lay on the strawberry sponges. Try to place them away from your head.

When morning comes, I was thrilled! Slowly removing my strawberry sponges, and here comes the curls! =)

Because I want the curls to last throughout the day, I will use Lucido-L Designing Aqua spray. I know the label states "For use before curling", but it works perfectly fine for me.

With a final comb through using my fingers, I am really to go! =)

To me, I'm happy with my curls as it looks really natural, soft and fluffy. Most importantly, my hair doesn't feel sticky or stiff. Go ahead and try it out for yourself. =)
